Bob Mizer (1922-1992) for AMG (Athletic Model Guild) - Lot 103

ONLINE sale Muscle ONLY II

We are pleased to present the Online sale Muscle ONLY II bringing together some of the major figures in men's physical photography of the XXᵉ century: Craig Calvin Anderson for Sierra Domino, known for his innovative depiction of African-American models, pieces that have today become highly sought-after for their singularity and modernity; Bob Mizer for AMG and Bruce of Los Angeles, the great Californian studios emblematic of the period and pioneers in the staging of the male body; and a fine set by French photographer Jean Ferrero, a sophisticated, European alternative to physical photography, whose work, less widely distributed than his American colleagues, is rarer on the market.
