Constant LORICHON (1800-1855) After Lysippe Hermes reattaching his sandal Charcoal on paper signed and dated 1816 lower right 59 x 42 cm Born in Paris, he was a student of François Forster and won the Grand Prix de Rome in 1820. A recognized engraver, he worked notably on the Greek and Roman Iconography and engraved the costumes for the work of the Coronation of Charles X. Reproduced page 131 in Obsession masculin, éditions Flammarion.
